Meet Our Awesome Doctors!
My
name is Dr. Dan and I grew up in NYC in a family of nine. I am a
constant learner and genuinely care for people. Chiropractic is not just
a job, profession, or career; it is my lifestyle. It is the place from
which I live and breathe. After graduating with dual degrees in Biology
and Human Nutrition from State University of New York, I have worked as
a fitness trainer at the Exercise Training Center in Manhattan before
graduating from Life Chiropractic College (now Life University) on a
rugby scholarship.
I
am an active member of the California Chiropractic Association as well
as the West Virginia Chiropractic Society. I am licensed in 6 states
including Colorado, California, New York, New Jersey, Georgia and West
Virginia and am active with the Life University Alumni Association, the
LIFEforce1000 Program and the Life University Rugby Program, ranked in
the top 5 in the country for the past several years. I am a 2003
recipient of Who's Who in Executives and Professionals. Together with my
incredible spouse of 22 years, Dr. Kim and I have three fantastic boys
who have grown up with chiropractic care. I am an avid lecturer and
program speaker, teaching the public and other doctors through fun,
interactive workshops. I recently moved to San Diego to set up a
training headquarters for other chiropractors and to bring the message
of chiropractic to the sick and suffering masses.
I did my undergraduate studies at WVU and received my Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University in 1991. I attended WVU with the intention of being a pediatrician and then found that Chiropractic would be a much better way at helping sick children get well.
My passion is centered on my desire to help pregnant woman and children. I believe in the natural healing potential in the human body and that fueled my decision to have 3 home births. Dr. Dan and I believe so firmly in the power of the adjustment, we have been known to go to the hospital and take care of patients and even babies minutes after they are born. When I am not busy being a mom, wife or chiropractor, I travel extensively either studying how to improve our society or am speaking at chiropractic conferences around the country.
